One former member of coaching staff told us that he simply called Louis "goals". There is no doubt that he has had, and continues to have, the knack of scoring and you get the distinct impression when you meet him that his football journey still has a very long way to go.
We are always fascinated by how the family upbringing the player has can impact his personality and career. There is no doubt that his dad's influence was huge, in terms of both culture and football, but we find this image, of his much older brothers lifting up, compelling. He says that those positive male influences in the house helped him greatly and his response to being accepted into the Liverpool Academy ("just about?!?") sums his self-confidence up well.
