Natasha Dowie to work with B5 Consultancy as Senior Consultant

It is with immense pride that we announce that we will be working with Natasha Dowie following her retirement from playing at the end of a storied career with clubs such as Everton, Liverpool, Boston Breakers, Melbourne Victory, AC Milan and Reading.

Tash’s early focus will be on the work we do with WSL Academies and female athletes but we will be looking to expand her portfolio both inside and outside of sport.

Tash’s insight in women’s sport, high performing environments and the enormous challenges that come in travelling the world to work, means that she has so much to offer in this second phase of her career.

She has already been incredibly busy, working for Liverpool FC as an Ambassador and on media duties for LFCtv, and she is expanding her media work with work for Sky Sports and talkSPORT.

Matt Himsworth, director of B5 Consultancy said: “I have known Tash for many years and was so thrilled to have her come along to a social media session we delivered to Liverpool FC’s women’s first team recently. Tash had been in one of my first women’s team sessions about 10 years ago when she was a young player at the club. It has been a thrill to watch her playing career progress and now to be a part of her new career off the pitch makes me very proud”

Natasha said: “I love the work that B5 Consultancy do and to be a part of it, as I move to the second phase of my career, is hugely exciting.”

Leigh Nicol, associate director of B5 Consultancy, said: “I have long admired Tash as a player and a person and I was blown away when Matt mentioned that she would be joining us. I’ve been teaching Matt and Fraser about the women’s game and now I have someone else with a huge knowledge of the game to help me!”

Fraser Franks, director of B5 Consultancy said: “Tash was a fantastic guest on our Football Journeys podcast and I am so thrilled to have her on board, even though her 14 caps for England outshine my 5 for England C!”
