As we approach the Christmas period we are now going to have a break until the new year. We will have more content for Series One in the new year and preparations are already under way for Series Two.
In the meantime we need to find a way to fund the project. We've been blown away by the support we've received to date but we have self-funded the whole project and we deliberately did not add advertising to this first set of podcasts. In order to continue, and improve, the quality of the pod we need to find some funding for cameras, mics, travel and other essential costs. So we have set up a Patreon account and are asking: if you're enjoying the pod could you add a couple of pounds a month from next year to help support it?

Become a Patron Founder of the Football Journeys Podcast and support the podcast to produce further content and series. Every penny raised through Patreon will be used to fund equipment, travel and all the other essentials we need to produce the show.
Founders will also receive access to any exclusive content produced, will receive early access and news on further content, episodes, series and other developments.
Founders will also be entered into prize draws, which should include a giveaway of a signed shirt belonging to one of the lads featured in Series One. The first draw will be at the end of January 2021 giving Founders the chance to win a personalised football artwork from our graphic designer Jay Northall.
We have already showcased Jay's work for each episode on our social media and below is another example, to celebrate Fraser's 30th birthday this year. The winner will receive a personalised artwork of either a favourite player or, where possible, of you or a family member.
Sponsorship
We are actively looking for sponsorship for the show or for individual episodes. We have turned down some recent sponsorship opportunities because we didn't feel that they were consistent with the principles or tone of the podcast. We are keen to work with like-minded brands and companies and are willing to give bespoke packages of support and promotion.
